Good journalism depends on people willing to speak up. If you know something the public deserves to know — a wrongdoing, a violation, a story someone is trying to bury, or a person whose rights are being trampled and who doesn't know where to turn — you can reach me here. Before you do, think about your own safety first. I work with facts, so I'll need evidence you can stand behind and sources I can trust — but I need you to protect yourself before you protect the story. Ask yourself what you've already done to shield your identity. I will do everything I can to keep you safe, and I'll be honest about the limits: that protection narrows as an investigation moves closer to the truth.

The safest first step is a message on WhatsApp — it's encrypted end-to-end: [+91 81 47 87 90 10]. Please be patient; depending on what I'm working on, a reply can take time.

Sending documents by post

In an all-digital age this may look old-fashioned, but paper is often the safest way to pass information — and I genuinely prefer it. I read closely, word by word; I reach for my printer more often than my laptop, and I catch things buried in a stack of documents that a screen hides. If you have material you think I should see, I'll gladly receive it by post.

I don't list a mailing address publicly. If post is the right channel for you, reach out first and I'll share a current one. For real anonymity, make that first contact from an account that isn't linked to you — a fresh, free email address is enough — rather than your personal number. Then, when you send the documents, leave off any name and return address, and drop the envelope in a postbox somewhere that can't be traced back to your home or workplace.

(For postal correspondence only — not for visits. Any in-person meeting is by prior arrangement.)

My book

I've just announced my first book — HELP OR HARM?, 75 hard truths about building real impact in the citizen sector, arriving in 2026. If you'd like to be among the first to read it, join the early-readers list here. [early-readers list link]

Everything else

Story tips, press queries, or a collaboration worth exploring — reach out any time. Consultations, workshops, and my other work will soon have their own home at qchub.in (under construction). And if you simply want to say hello, that's welcome too.

When I'm not chasing a story, writing, or behind a camera, I'm at home in Bengaluru with the people I love. Take a look around the site — if something here resonates, or you think I've got something wrong, tell me. Either way, I'd like to hear from you.
